COMMANDERS UPDATE for MAY:
Hope everyone is well. Some things going on this month include our Buddy Poppy Event next Saturday at the Farmers Market. On the 24th we will be awarding our Eagle Scouts at their awards dinner,
We will be participating in a parade with the Sedalia VFW POST on the 26th to go by the Veterans Home. ALL Riders are invited. Will be forming up at Arwoods furniture parking lot at 8:30, walking and riding event. Everyone invited.
Hope everyone could support our raffle, it’s a fine farm/ranch rifle. Only 10$, to support the post. You can buy on line now on our new site.
On Friday next week we will be putting out the flags on veterans graves, Tuesday, pick up. Memorial day events will start at 9 am at Sunset Cemetery and Memorial Cemetery, then at Courthouse at 10.
We stained the deck at the post and did more clearing on our Warren St. Entrance.
Another thank you to everyone for supporting our post, paying your dues is key. We reached our goals and that is commendable. We also participated in an official flag raising of the BIG flag at Old Glory Market.
