COMMANDER’S UPDATE. We need to announce our Buddy Poppy drive this year will be on Friday 9/11 at BILO 8 to 5. Any one who can donate a few hours to help the post on that day contact me or Teresa.
At 6 p.m., Doug (senior vice) will be continuing veteran gravestone cleaning at Sunset Cemetery.
Our next Post work day will be Saturday, Sept 12.
At the same time, we will also sponsor the Sedalia VFW post’s poker run. I need someone to man the post on the 12th from 8 till noon, to run raffle sales and keep an eye on things. I’m involved with clean-up detail till noon. Then I will relieve. I also need to announce the building committee meeting at 6:00 before our next meeting Sept. 16.
More later on pavilion progress. I am meeting with city permit office this week.
