VFW Auxiliary
Leaping into the Future as We Step Up to Leave No Veteran Behind
The VFW Auxiliary supports veterans and helps VFW Post 2513 with community service and veteran service activities.
We assist our veterans at the Veterans Home in Warrensburg with bingo night and collect donations of socks and other personal needs for the residents.
The Post voted in November to reinstate the VFW Auxiliary and it is open to persons age 16 and older who have a veteran eligible for membership in the VFW.
A person is needed to help drive the recruiting campaign. Please contact Adjutant Shaw at 660-422-1537.
The Auxiliary is also active on the legislative level to help get support for veterans who need health care and family support.
The Auxiliary holds Patriotic Art Contests and also participates in the Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy contests.
